Tillandsia Lepidosepala is a very rare epiphyte species, native to Mexico, where it grows and develops generally on stones, although it can also be found on the bark of large trees.
Its natural habitat is at latitudes ranging from 2000 to 2500 metres above sea level.
Originally from Colombia, tillandsia Funckiana is a species of vine that produces "pups" or deviations along the stem and can establish into a specimen plant fairly quickly.
Plant is very large as an adult can be more than 2 meters in height and diameter flowering stemless or very short stalk.
Its large number of leaves can exceed 80 cm, rigid, green but quickly becoming purple, rosacea and brown.
