Neoregalia Amaranda is an epiphytic plant, native to Brazil and belonging to the Bromeliaceae family, known for its attractive foliage and vibrant colours.

Neoregelia Amaranda is distinguished by its broad, flat leaves arranged in a rosette. The predominant colour is a deep shade of green that contrasts with lighter or even reddish markings and spots in the centre of the leaves.

As the plant matures, the colour of its leaves may intensify, revealing more vibrant shades of red, purple or even orange, especially during flowering.

During its flowering phase, Neoregelia Amaranda produces a central inflorescence that can be light in colour, adding to the plant's attractiveness.

This variety of Neoregelia is generally moderate in size, making it suitable for more compact spaces or for growing in pots.

Although Neoregelia Amaranda is relatively easy to care for, it is essential to provide the right conditions to maintain its health and beauty.

It prefers bright indirect light. Avoid direct sun exposure, as it can burn the leaves.

It adapts well to warm temperatures, between 18-27 °C. Protect from cold draughts.

Use a well-drained substrate specifically for epiphytic bromeliads. They can grow well in mixtures of coconut fibre and pine bark.

Keep the substrate moist, but not waterlogged. Make sure that water does not accumulate at the base of the rosette to avoid rotting.

Prefer moderate humidity levels. Mist leaves with water occasionally to provide additional moisture.

During the growing season, apply a balanced fertilizer every 2-4 weeks.

May produce side shoots after flowering, which can be detached and repotted to propagate the plant.

It is advisable to remove dead or damaged leaves to encourage healthy growth.

Bark support not included.
