This beautiful species of caulescent form is native to Brazil, it can be found in nature as an epiphyte (living on trees) or lithophyte (living on rocks or stones).

This specimen usually grows to a height of 20 to 30 cm and forms large clumps very quickly. Its rigid, reddish-coloured leaves give it a very striking and elegant appearance.
In its inflorescence it produces a stem of pink bracts from which beautiful white flowers sprout.
It can be placed either hanging or on a bark or similar support.
