This fabulous plant is one of the most striking of the Houston group, its bluish-grey foliage forms a beautiful rosette that combines perfectly with the fuchsia colour of its bracts, which it develops in its inflorescence, mainly in the coldest months, from which sprout wonderful purple flowers that increase their pigmentation with time.
It is a variety that prefers places sheltered from the cold as well as frequent moderate watering.
