Tillandsia Bulbosa x Ionantha is a hybrid created in Germany from the combination of Tillandsias Bulbosa and Ionantha.
It has the shape of Ionantha but with the leaves of Bulbosa.

This hybrid inherits the shape of the Tillandsia Ionantha and its almost tubular leaves from the Bulbosa.
In the flowering process it changes the colour of its long leaves, acquiring incredibly intense pink/purple tones that give it an almost otherworldly appearance.
It produces an inflorescence with long tubular flowers of a very intense purple colour that contrasts perfectly with the strong yellow of the pollen.
